Use your Nursing qualification and hands-on experience to work within one of Australia's leading health care organisations as a Travel Insurance Assessor - Medical. Join the Travel Department of this large and reputable organisation and use your communication skills and medical knowledge for the benefit of the customer.

As part of the Travel Team you will be responsible for applying your medical knowledge to provide high level customer service to applicants with existing medical conditions and their carers. You will ensure that regulatory and compliance policies and procedures are adhered to, while determining whether an individual meets the criteria for Medical Travel Insurance. 

The successful applicant will be a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in ICU, Cardiovascular or Chronic Illness Management, be able to make comprehensive patient assessments in relation to travel for a wide variety of medical conditions and provide easy to understand medical feedback to applicants.  Extensive travel would be advantageous as would the ability to identifying particular destinations where increased risk and the likelihood of health deterioration exists.

This permanent part time (up to 25 hrs p/w) Brisbane CBD based role paying $50 - 60,000 pro rata is an outstanding opportunity for an RN who is looking to apply their studies and practical experience in an office environment.
